Graduation was over one week ago so it is about time we post some pictures!
David (at right) opened the ceremony with a welcome speech. As you can see, almost all the seats were filled. Chiefs, opinion leaders, assemblymen, the district health director, and other Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from Akatsi were all represented.
The class captain, Esther, gave a speech pledging the hard work of the VHWs.
Olivia and Jason spoke about the program and the village leaders were invited to get involved with the work.
The women used their natural talent for drama to deliver a message on HIV/AIDS.
Each woman received a personal certificate and Kekeli T-shirt.
