Support Teen Health in Ghana

Olivia and Jess Go To Ghana

Every year we return to Ghana to support the Kekeli Women. Most of the time we teach them something new, expanding their skills to help the rural communities where they live. Olivia and Jess are in Akatsi, Ghana right now to introduce a curriculum on teen health with a focus on pregnancy prevention.

Why Teen Health?

The Akatsi South and Akatsi North Districts have some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in Ghana. In fact the Kekeli Women specifically asked for teaching on how to prevent teenage pregnancies because they see the problem first hand. But we need your help to support our teaching.

Our $4000 Fundraising Goal

  • Printing curricula for training ($600)
  • Feeding the Kekeli Women during training ($1385)
  • Transportation and housing during training ($476)
  • Stipend for Kekeli Women ($611)
  • 10 replacement phones and 1 laptop ($928)

See for yourself!

We recently unveiled a new video about the Kekeli Program that let’s you see the work of the Kekeli Women for yourself. They are not only doing inspiring work but they are inspiring people. Thank you for supporting them year after year, training after training. Together, we support progress in Ghana.

Help us reduce teen pregnancy in Ghana by empowering the Kekeli Women to make a sustainable difference in their communities.
