2018 was an exciting year for the RHC Monitoring team! Now you might hear the word “monitoring” and think *yawn* – but I know a few of you are as excited about this topic as I am. 🙂 And if you have no idea what this means, then follow along!
Since 2015, we have been tracking lots of information. It’s a time intensive and laborious practice to gather these figures in the field. Then the information is sent through various computer programs and google documents, the data is interpreted, and finally, disseminated in a meaningful way to you! Many of you probably did not know that the Kekeli women were taking thousands of blood pressures, monitoring 50 different pregnancies, treating hundreds of wounds, and teaching health topics like disease prevention or family planning to local community members.
To remedy this, we created the Monitoring and Evaluation Task Force, a team comprised of some truly talented individuals who do M&E work on a daily basis in their careers. The goal of the Task Force is to be able to succinctly and accurately communicate all the amazing work that the Kekeli Women and entire RHC Ghana team do. And look what we came up with …. http://rhcollaborative.org/impact/
We now have a place on our website where you can see real data about everything the RHC does! So when you are bragging to your friends and family about the amazing work the Kekeli women do, you can now show them this page and give the data to back up the stories. And if you want even more in depth knowledge about our programs, just email me heather@rhcollaborative.org and I’ll happily geek out over all this with you. 🙂 Enjoy our new RHC Impact page!
